Strong Thunderstorms Affecting Parts Of Dallas County

At 1245 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Belknap, or 17 miles northeast of Camden, moving northeast at 25 mph. Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Therefore NWS Birmingham has issued a Significant Weather Advisory until 1:45PM for Southeastern Dallas County.

Locations impacted include…
Dallas Lake, Belknap, Gardner Island, Burnsville, Tyler, Carlowville, Minter, Tilden and Selma Drag Strip.
