Tonight on WeatherBrains: Going to HurricaneCity

| April 3, 2017 @ 12:10 am

Tonight’s WeatherBrains will feature Jim Williams from HurricaneCity.com. Williams created the expansive website about hurricanes and a variety of other products including webcasts and seasonal forecasts. He intercepts hurricanes, grades models and maintains a database of cities and the hurricanes that have impacted them.

He has been doing the site since he 1990s.

We will be talking about ENSO, a little hurricane history and his upcoming seasonal forecast, that will be released on May 15th.

Our Guest Panelist will be Mark Jelinek, the Founder and Host of What is it About the Weather, another weather podcast. Mark has been tracking the long range forecasts issued by Accu Weather and is going to discuss the results.

I am certain that the Panel will be discussing the deaths of Weather Channel storm chasers last week in Texas, and it will be the anniversary of the April 3, 1974 Superoutbreak, so that might come up in conversation as well.
