High Pressure Firmly in Control

| April 8, 2017 @ 1:07 pm

Actually early this afternoon, the high pressure is dead center over Alabama and is why we continue to see severe clear and pleasant temperatures; not a cloud in the Alabama sky again this afternoon.

Early this afternoon we are in the 60s; we are all heading into the lower and mid 70s later this afternoon, and it is hard to complain about the weather in Alabama today.

ANOTHER CRISP NIGHT: Not as cold tonight, but there will still certainly be a chill in the air with a clear sky. Most of North/Central Alabama will see lows in the lower and mid 40s.

SUN-FILLED SUNDAY: With the high pressure remaining near, we are going to still have tons of sun, and with it sliding a bit to the east, our winds shifting back out of the south, which will allow for a warmer day, but needless to say, tomorrow will be another chamber of commerce day across the entire state. Highs should range from the upper 70s to low 80s.
