Heavy rain and gusty winds continue to move from west to east across Central Alabama.

There are a few thunderstorms embedded within the rain area. The showers and storms will continue to move east through the state the next few hours. Though we are seeing a few strong storms, severe weather is not expected.

There could be some areas of isolated flash flooding, so use caution if you are out and about tonight.

One report of wind damage from Fayette County where a garage suffered some damage. This is expected to be a result of pressure gradient wind along the cold front that is swinging through the area.
