Heavy Showers in the Birmingham Area
Some very heavy downpours are over the Birmingham area right now. An areal flood advisory for Jefferson County.
The heaviest rainfall extends from the Oxmoor Valley near Ross Bridge to Green Springs and Homewood. There is a little bit of lightning in the Birmingham area, but not much.
Other heavy cells are east of Jasper, in the Chelsea area. Others are west of Centreville/Brent.
Everything is moving east northeast.
