Snowing in Homewood, Hoover, Vestavia…

Reports are starting to flow in on social media of snowflakes in Homewood, Hoover and Vestavia.

Here is the radar with the correlation coefficient product showing the snowing…

You can see the areas where it is snowing behind the transition line.

FREEZING RAIN WEIGHTING TREES
There are increasing reports of freezing rain weighting down trees across parts of the Birmingham Metro area. A tree was reported down on Montclair Road at 52nd street and Birmingham PD is reporting lots of low hanging branches.

While this won’t be a big outage event…
