The SPC has much of Alabama in a marginal risk category outlook for Sunday. Things look drier for the start of the week.

Some areas in Birmingham are reporting flooding from this afternoon’s heavy thunderstorm that dumped as much as 1.5 to 2 inches of rain in just one hour according to Doppler radar estimates.
