The University of Alabama President’s Advisory Committee for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) released its comprehensive report, which includes strategies for ongoing coordination and expansion of UA’s efforts.
Showers are pushing into West Alabama early this afternoon ahead of an approaching upper trough and surface front.
Clouds and showers will overspread Central and Southern portions of Alabama today. Rainfall amounts will be light and spotty.
Some patchy fog and even some freezing fog this morning will dissipate, but showers will move in from the southwest this afternoon, mainly remaining south of I-20. Monday will be sunny, breezy, and cool.
Surface temperatures have dropped to at or below freezing in several locations and fog is becoming more widespread. Folks will need to be vigilant if traveling and watch for light icing on bridges and overpasses.
Some patchy fog over the Tennessee Valley may combine with freezing temps in some areas to produce freezing fog overnight. Be alert for reduced visibility and any slippery spots that might form on bridges in areas where there is fog and readings at or below 32F.
