NWS Birmingham has extended the FLOOD WATCH until 9 am Friday for Autauga, Bibb, Calhoun, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Perry, Randolph, Shelby, Talladega, and Tallapoosa counties in Central Alabama, and has expanded the watch to now include Bullock and Russell counties.

However, Chilton, Clay, Dallas, Jefferson, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, and Talladega counties have been removed from the watch as the severe weather threat has ended.
