A Superb Saturday Afternoon Across Central Alabama

| May 7, 2022 @ 1:34 pm

While we do have clouds over the northern half of the area, skies are mainly sunny over the southern half as we have reached the 1 pm hour. Temperatures are much cooler than what we have seen throughout the previous work week, with lower 60s to the lower 80s being reported. Haleyville was the cool spot at 61º, while the warm spot was Troy at 81º. Birmingham was at 70º.

We’ll continue with those lingering clouds across the north, while the south will remain sunny throughout the rest of the daylight hours. Highs will top out in the upper 60s to the lower 80s across the area. Skies will clear out throughout the night tonight and lows will eventually drop into the upper 40s to the mid 50s.

Happy Mother’s Day! Sunday will be a sunny day across the area and a few degrees warmer than what we will see today. Nearly a picture-perfect day to celebrate mom. Highs will be in the upper 70s to the lower 80s.
