A Few Counties Trimmed From The Tornado Watch

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has removed Greene, Marengo, and Sumter counties from the Tornado Watch, as the threat for now has diminished.

The Tornado Watch continues in effect until 3:00 AM for Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Montgomery, Perry, Shelby, Talladega, Chambers, Clay, Lee, Macon, Randolph, Russell, Tallapoosa, Barbour, Bullock, Pike, and Hale counties.

Currently there are only two warnings in effect for Central Alabama, and that is for Tuscaloosa County until 1:00 AM, and for Bibb, Hale, and Perry counties until 1:15 AM.
