Severe Thunderstorm Warning Canceled for Bibb and Perry Counties

…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHERN PERRY AND BIBB
COUNTIES IS CANCELLED…

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore the warning has been cancelled.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 300 AM CST for south central,
west central Alabama.


…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM CST
FOR NORTHERN PERRY AND BIBB COUNTIES…

At 1239 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Eoline to Heiberger, moving east at 65 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Brent, Marion, Centreville, Heiberger, Brierfield Ironworks Park,
Talladega National Forest, West Centreville, Eoline, Ashby, Lawley,
Randolph, Ellards, Sprott, Bibb County Airport, Six Mile, Trio,
Harmon, Oakmulgee, Folsom and Morgan Springs.


…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN HALE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED…

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 300 AM CST for south central,
west central Alabama.

* At 1227 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Low Gap to near Greensboro, moving east at 60 mph.
