Las Vegas Snow!

Thanks to a reader for these images… he writes:

“Birmingham was the only place I’ve known as home for 25 years until 2 weeks ago when I moved out here to Las Vegas to work. This may have been the last thing I expected here in the middle of the desert. Just started coming down for the past hour and doesn’t look to stop anytime soon. I’ll have more to come later as it piles up.”

And… this updated report tonight…

“Thanks a bunch. Left work at 4 pacific time and took me 2 hours to get home in a 5 mile distance up this hill. Witnessed at least 6 different car crashes of people spinning their tires and sliding into other cars. Was extremely lucky to make it. Someone told me a news report had said it was 7 inches of snow here in Henderson on the southeast side of Vegas. The whole area is practically shut down now.”
