Tornado Warning for Shelby [AL] till 7:00 PM CDT …* AT 617 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO NEAR ALABASTER…MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

Possible wall cloud crossing highway 119.

So we have a potential tornado on the ground just east of Alabaster…

It is moving east northeast toward Chelsea, Vincent and Harpersville.

The most active area will continue to shift east northeast over Central Alabama from Perry through Chilton, Shelby, Talladega, Coosa, Clay, Randolph, Calhoun and Cleburne Counties ove rthe next couple of hours.
