Bitter Cold Early (Too Early) on This Tuesday

It is bitter cold all across Alabama early on this Tuesday morning, especially over the North and Central portions. The wind is still blowing but not like yesterday. Too, the snow flurries are no more. Here is a sampling of official reports around Alabama at 3 am and a few regional reports

This is still a dangerous and damaging cold air outbreak, pipe bursting weather. Please continue to keep your pets indoors. There will be some moderation this afternoon as temperatures finally edge upward to above freezing.
