BLACK ICE
By daybreak most of these cities will be reporting temperatures in the teens. The melting that took place Monday is not be found. It has already frozen into black ice. It is essential that everyone be extremely careful later this morning if you are going to work or it will be necessary for you to be traveling. You can spin out in a hurry, or even slide or skid off the road or street. Later today (Tuesday) the high temperature will struggle to reach freezing especially over the north and central portions. Improvements to bridges, streets and roads will be slow to occur. It will be even colder Tuesday night and early Wednesday.
