Matt Ernst, Fox 34, Lubbock, TXTonight’s Guest Panelist is Matt Ernst. Matt is responsible for introducing us to tonights Guest WeatherBrain. In honor of his timely introduction, we invited him to serve in the honorary seat on the panel tonight. He is the morning meteorologist for FOX 34 in Lubbock, TX. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds his certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Ernst Keisling, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TXTonights Guest WeatherBrain, Dr. Ernst Kiesling, is one of the world’s leading experts on storm shelters. He is a Professor of Civil Engineering at Texas Tech University and Executive Director of the National Storm Shelter Association. He and his colleagues developed the In-Residence Storm Shelter, an above-ground storm shelter capable of providing a very high degree of protection from extreme winds. Texas Tech provided shelter designs and other input in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) publications on storm shelters. He was instrumental in the founding of the National Storm Shelter Association (NSSA) and has served as Executive Director since 2001.
