Rare Display Of The Aurora Borealis Tonight

A major geomagnetic storm tonight has produced a rare display of the Northern Lights as far south as Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee tonight. Many reports have come in via social media of a red/purple glow in the northern sky over the northern counties of Alabama. No pictures from Alabama yet, but the shot below is from near Richmond, VA…

And, the shot below is from Ontario, Canada…
