Tornadic storms are passing near Hazel Green in Madison County and into northern Cullman County and Marshall County from Eva to Baileyton to Arab.

At 6:50 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nesmith, or 7 miles northeast of Arley, moving east at 50 mph.
At 7:04 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Baileyton, or near Joppa, moving east at 45 mph.
At 639 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Battleground on the Morgan/Cullman County border, moving east at 40 mph.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
At 6:41 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Ardmore, or 14 miles northeast of Athens, moving east at 45 mph.
At 6:50 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Falkville, or 8 miles southeast of Hartselle, moving east at 35 mph.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and has exited the warned area.

At 6:02 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lexington, or 19 miles south of Lawrenceburg, moving east at 45 mph.
At 5:57 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Hackleburg, or 13 miles southwest of Russellville, moving east at 35 mph.
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of the warned area.
ENHANCED RISK: SPC maintains an “enhanced risk” of severe weather for much of North Alabama, generally north of I-20… north of a line from Tuscaloosa to Columbiana to Sylacauga to Ranburne. The standard “slight risk” is up down to York, Monroeville, and Andalusia, and a “marginal risk” covers Southwest Alabama, places like Mobile and Gulf Shores.
Thunderstorms entering Northwest Alabama contain lightning, brief heavy rain and possibly some small hail but should remain below severe criteria.
