At 3:35 pm CT, we continue to have rogue storms moving across the western and west-central parts of North/Central Alabama, some of which has needed warnings issued on them.
At 3:42 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Helicon, or 7 miles east of Arley, moving northeast at 40 mph.

At 3:14 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Over Inmanfield, Moving Northeast At 45 Mph. Pea Size Hail And Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
The Storm Prediction Center, in conjunction with both NWS offices in Huntsville and Birmingham, has issued a Tornado Watch effective immediately for Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan counties in North Alabama, and Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston counties in Central Alabama until 10:00 pm CT tonight.
At 3:04 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strengthening Thunderstorm Near Carbon Hill, Moving Northeast At 40 Mph. Penny Size Hail And Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
A stronger cell showing signs of broad rotation is strengthening as it is now entering the northwestern parts of Walker County.
At 2:58 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Holt, moving northeast at 40 mph.
A strong storm that is showing rotation is currently over the southwestern parts of Tuscaloosa County and is moving to the northeast with Northport and Tuscaloosa in its path.
The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Tornado Warning for Eastern Yazoo County and Central Madison County in Mississippi until 3:00 pm.
We already have our first batch of storms that have developed over the western portions of the area and at least one of these cells has already tried to rotate and become a supercell.
