A Tornado Watch has been issued for the central and eastern part of Central Alabama until 12:00 am Friday. Those counties include Autauga, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Randolph, Talladega, and Tallapoosa.
A dangerous tornado-warned storm is moving across Calhoun County and headed toward the city of Jacksonville. Get to your place of safety immediately if you are in Jacksonville, Piedmont, and points in-between.
At 6:36 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harrisburg, or 8 miles south of Brent, moving east at 35 mph.
A confirmed tornado was located over Heiberger and just north of Marion and was moving to the east at 35 MPH. Take cover immediately if your are in Heiberger, Oakmulgee, Trio, and Ellards.
At 6:24 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Over Dodge City, Or 10 Miles South Of Cullman, Moving Northeast At 55 Mph. Nickel Size Hail And Wind Gusts Of 50 To 55 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.

At 6:05 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Low Gap to 6 miles east of Greensboro, moving east at 40 mph.
At 6:02 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Over Curry, Or 8 Miles Northeast Of Jasper, Moving Northeast At 55 Mph. Nickel Size Hail And Winds In Excess Of 40 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
This storm may have a tornado on the ground south of HWY 25 as a TDS has been picked up by radar. If you are in the path of this storm, be in your safe place immediately.
At 5:58 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated clusters of showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall.
We continue to track a dangerous storm in Hale County that will move through northern Perry and into Chilton County, possibly affecting far southeastern Bibb county.
The last few scans have sown the rotation really starting to tighten up as it is approaching Gadsden and Hokes Bluff.
