A few peeks of sunshine are allowing temperatures to rise into the middle to upper 50s across much of Central Alabama this afternoon. Stubborn clouds over Northeast Alabama have slowed the mercury’s rise. There could be a small shower tonight but Monday and Tuesday will be dry. There could be a few fun snowflakes on Thursday, but accumulations don’t look likely at this time.
A few showers are occurring across Alabama this morning under thick cloud cover, but there are breaks in those clouds in spots.
After a little overnight rain, a few showers will be possible this morning, and again later today. We are watching for a change to colder Christmas Eve with a little light snow possible on the back side of the weather system.
