Thanks to ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Michelle Miklik for these images… she writes:

“I went to Louisville,Ky/Ft.Knox, to see my cousin’s husband off to Iraq for 1 yr. While at the Louisville airport Saturday afternoon heavy rain was falling due to the front coming in. Within minutes the heavy rain mixed with quarter size snowflakes. It was so cool to see. Also got to experience Thunder Snow, there was a flash of lightning then a rumble of thunder, as the snow was falling. So that was a fun weather experience.”
