Tornado Warning Continues For Parts Of Colbert And Lauderdale Counties Until MIDNIGHT CST

At 1149 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles northeast of Cherokee, or 13 miles northwest of
Sheffield, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Colbert and western Lauderdale Counties, including the
following locations: Oakland, Threet and Wright.

mph.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
