Significant Weather Advisory For Parts of Winston, Lamar, and Marion Counties

A Significant Weather Advisory has been issued for northern Winston, northeastern Lamar, and central Marion Counties until 2:15 AM. At 134 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a couple of strong thunderstorms in Marion County, moving northeast at 70 mph. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.

Hamilton, Haleyville, Hackleburg, Double Springs, Detroit, Ashridge, Brushy Lake, Moreland, Inmanfield, Needmore, Brinn, Lake
Buttahatchee, Weston, Winston Free State Barn, Bear Creek, Upshaw, Sipsey River Rec Area, Piney Grove, Tessner and Grayson.
