Freezing Fog Advisory Expanded

We now have a “freezing fog advisory” for the northern half of Alabama…

Note the freezing fog advisory includes all of the counties on the map above and all the way north to the Tennessee state line.

Freezing fog is simply fog that forms when surface temperatures are at or below freezing, and this can create icy spots on bridges and overpasses. Be very careful if you have to drive early tomorrow morning!
