Areal Flood Advisory for Pickens County

1-2 inches of rain has fallen across Pickens County this evening. Low lying areas will flood.

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for…
Southern Pickens County in west central Alabama…

* Until 245 AM CST

* At 1141 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the
advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Aliceville, Carrollton, Pickensville, McMullen, Bevill Lock And
Dam, Johnston Lake, Garden, Benevola, Gainesville Lake Campground,
George Downer Airport, Pioneer, Kirk, Cochrane and Dillburg.
