The most distant outer band of Ike was bringing a row, or train of showers to SW Alabama late this afternoon.

At 4:30 pm, that row of showers, anb maybe a few thunderstorms extended from Elba and Andalusia, in Extreme South Alabama northwestward to near Selma, Demopolis and Eutaw.

Moving NNW like a row of soldiers marching.

On a widescan regional radar display, it can easily be seen that these showers are a part of the overall circulation of Hurricane Ike even though we are way, far away!
