Thanks to ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Vic Bell for these images. He writes:

“My daughter and family are currently staying in an RV park about 15 miles inland from the Ocean Springs/Pascagoula area. They have a river running through the campground. I’ll begin with a picture of the beach under normal conditions. Tidal surge raised the river about 6′ above the normal high tide today, flooding their beautiful sandy swimming beach and the swimming pool. These pics were taken 4 hours after high tide (8:40am). You can see the debris in a picture that shows it was about a foot higher. That’s my grandson wading water at the bath house.”
