From West Alabama

Every year on the first Saturday in October I drive down to Demopolis to emcee the annual “Miss Christmas On The River” pageant. I have been doing this for about 20 years, and it is a marker in the year for me (I have several of those). On the way down I drove through Brent, and enjoyed BBQ at the Twix and Tween, and then it was on over to Greensboro (driving by the old WSR 57 radar site on Alabama 25, just below Centreville), and Demopolis. The sun was going down as I was driving down Highway 25 between Greensboro and Gallion… always a great site. The shots below were taken on my iPhone along the way…
