Heads Up Lamar County A Strong Storm Is Approaching

A strong storm is about to move across the state line and will soon start to affect the western parts of Lamar County. This storm was reported to have a funnel cloud with it when it passed through Caledonia. This storm will be paralleling SR-18, and will be passing just to the south of Vernon and approaching Crossville. Storm is showing signs of a weak rotation. Storm also had a 50 MPH wind gust at Columbus AFB just a while ago.

There is a Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued on it in Mississippi. Go ahead and be ready to go to your safe place if a warning is issued.
