High Fire Danger Today

Conditions are favorable for the rapid development and spread of wildfire conditions across Central Alabama today. North Alabama is also in a high fire danger condition today. Outdoor burning should be postponed.

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW…OR WILL SHORTLY. OUTDOOR BURNING IS DISCOURAGED AT THIS TIME.
