Iron Bowl Weather Update

With a 2:30 pm start, it’s looking like the weather will be about as we’ve been saying for the last couple of days.

Radar does not show any significant echoes in the Tuscaloosa area, however, our Skycam does show low clouds and wet streets. There is some light mist or drizzle occurring which was reported from the tailgate site at the Alabama baseball stadium about an hour ago, but is just too light to show up well on radar.

The temperature was 57 at our Skycam site downtown while the airport was reporting 58. I really don’t see the temperature changing much for the next several hours, though it could go up or down a degree or two. There was a north to northeast wind about 5 or 6 mph. The wind is expected to come around to a more northwesterly flow during the afternoon.

All-in-all, not such bad weather for such a big game!
