Storms Over East Alabama

Strong storms are over East Alabama’s Cleburne County. They are northeast of Heflin.

They are moving northeast and will be into Georgia before 8 p.m.

They have very heavy rain, gusty winds and lots of lightning.

Another storm was developing south of Heflin.

There is a developing storm north of Bynum in Calhoun County.

In Blount County, a heavy shower was approaching Hanceville.

Other heavy showers are in the Auburn area.

More showers and storms will continue to develop over the eastern part of the state through 10 p.m.

The rest of the night should be quiet.
