West Alabama Wind damage

It happened around 7:35 this morning. From Vernon, the Lamar County EMA Office reports that 64 trees were uprooted this morning by high winds.

This resulted in power outages at Sulligent, Vernon, Millport and Kennedy.

Lamar County is over on the west side of Alabama adjoining the Mississippi border.
