SUNNY AND QUITE WARM OUT THERE AT MIDDAY
Clouds are very hard to find at this midday hour across Central Alabama. Only a few fair-weather cumulus clouds are floating over the extreme western and southern locations in the area at this point. Temperatures at 12:08PM are running in the 80s to the lower 90s already, with 91 degrees in Eufaula as the warm spot. The cool spots are currently Cullman and Haleyville at 82 degrees.

AIR QUALITY INDEX: 97
The Air Quality Index for the Birmingham Metropolitan area throughout today will be at 97, which falls in the code yellow definition, due to increased levels of Ozone and Particulate Matter (PM2.5). Unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

FOR THE REST OF TODAY
Mainly sunny skies and very warm to hot temperatures across the area for the remainder of the afternoon and early evening hours. Afternoon highs will be in the lower to mid 90s across the area. A few clouds will start to move in during the late night and overnight hours, but skies will be mostly clear. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 60s.

HOT AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY
This warm and dry weather pattern continues for at least one more day on Wednesday, but there will be a few more clouds. There will be a mix of sun and clouds throughout the daytime hours, and highs will once again be in the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
