| May 18, 2017 @ 7:35 pm

Strong storms lifting northward across Central Alabama at this hour are approaching Selma and the western part of the Montgomery Metro area.

They will move across parts of Dallas, Autauga and western Elmore Counties.

They will affect locations including Selma, Prattville and Millbrook.

There could be small hail and 40 mph winds.

The HRRR model has been consistently showing these storms moving into the Birmingham Metro area before midnight. Assuming they hold together, they could do so before 10 p.m.
