Severe Thunderstorm Warning Expired For Parts Of Lee And Macon Counties

     …THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR LEE AND MACON COUNTIES WILL
     EXPIRE AT 630 PM CDT…
     The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
     limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
     Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. However gusty winds
     and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
     A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
     southeastern and east central Alabama.

…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT FOR LEE AND MACON COUNTIES… At 605 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Beulah to 6 miles south of Davisville, moving southeast at 30 mph.

     HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
     SOURCE…Radar indicated.
     IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include… Auburn, Opelika, Tuskegee, Smiths, Smiths Station, Beulah, Beans Mill, Lake Tuskegee, Auburn University, Tuskegee National Forest, Beauregard, Davisville, Bleecker, Liverpool, Hardaway, Society Hill, Griffen Mill, Ladonia, Warriorstand and Fort Davis.
