Friday Afternoon Notes . . .

| December 26, 2008 @ 1:30 pm | 10 Replies

Low clouds drape Alabama like a blanket this afternoon. In some areas, the ceiling is as low as 2 to 5 hundred feet. Indeed, some higher elevations are in the clouds like Mt. Cheaha.

Scattered patches of light drizzle and even a few patches of light rain mainly near the Georgia border.

Looks like our main rain event will be at some point Saturday night and into Sunday.

Temperatures this afternoon were generally in the 60s over NE Alabama but 70s in many parts of Central and South Alabama.
