Warrior River Flooding

I live in Corner and drive over the bridge on 78 that crosses the Locust Fork each morning and afternoon commuting to and from BSC. I stopped this morning to take a few pics of the river after the recent rainfalls over the last 72 hours. Looking at the info that Tim posted earlier about the various flood stages, these images confirm that it has risen over 25 feet since Sunday. I would expect that many of the feeder creeks and tributaries will only escalate this as they drain and empty into the river.

* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 25 FEET.
* FORECAST…THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 38.3 FEET BY
EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE
LATE FRIDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT…AT STAGES ABOVE 25 FEET…FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS
WOODLANDS AND AGRICULTURAL AREAS OCCUR.
