If The Blog Looks Weird on Your Device…
Some blog readers today, including our big boss, have noticed a strange look on the mobile version of AlabamaWX.com.
The reason: we are starting to implement improved security by adding support for https. This allows the communication between your computer and the blog to be secure – just like when you use credit cards on a shopping site.
Because of the large number of posts and the fact that much of the information on the blog comes from outside sources, there may be some pages which don’t display exactly correctly when using https.
We are working on making our way through these with a long term goal of having the entire site secured by https.
So, when accessing the blog, especially on your mobile device, just retype the URL address as https://www.alabamawx.com and you will see the normal look!
