Thanks to WHNS-TV (Greenville, SC) meteorologist Andy Wood for these images… he writes:

“Hey James! A buddy of mine and I took a ski trip up to one of my favorite spots in the North Carolina Mountains yesterday after forecasting the weather for our the morning show in Greenville SC! I felt like you… NO SLEEP for the strong baby!

this place is called Wolf Ridge in the mountain community of Wold Laurel… very pretty up there!

5-6” of snow fell on the top of the mountain, verifying the Wint. Storm Warning on Thursday. Lower elevations had around 3 inches. Gotta love “upslope” snow!”
