Not Feeling Like Fall

| September 23, 2017 @ 2:25 pm

A very summer-like weekend of weather is underway across the state of Alabama as we are seeing ample sunshine, very warm temperatures, and a scattering of showers and storms on the radar this afternoon. These are few and far between, and aren’t amounting too much, but are providing some quick heat relief.

Temperatures are mainly in the upper 80s and lower 90s today, which are a few degrees above average for this time of year.

Any and all shower activity will quickly wind down after sunset, and we should see mainly clear and mild conditions tonight as temps settle into the upper 60s.

FOR SUNDAY: Not much change in the forecast for tomorrow with more sun than clouds, a few isolated to scattered afternoon showers/storms, and temperatures in the upper 80s are once again expected.
