Alabama’s original severe weather awareness tour, put on by the ABC 33/40 weather team, is about to crank up for 2009. Each show begins at 7:00 p.m., and we promise to be wrapped up by 8:15. You will see some great Alabama weather stories, have a chance to meet our entire weather team, and learn how to keep your family safe during the upcoming spring tornado season. This program is for the entire family; if you have kids that love weather, be sure and bring them along. There is no cost for admission, and we do recommend you get there early for a good seat. Here is our schedule so far:

Thursday January 29 EUTAW: Greene County High School
Thursday February 5 TRUSSVILLE: Trussville Civic Center
Thursday February 12 JASPER: CHS Community Building
Thursday February 19 OXFORD: Oxford Civic Center

More than likely, we will do a show on Thursday Feb 26; we will announce the location in a few days.

We hope to see you along the way!
