Thanks to Sallie Lawrence for these images… she writes:

“I ventured out this afternoon, bundled up tight to brave the 9 degree weather. According to the weatherman last night, they have had 56.5 ” of snow this season, which is over the norm. The lake a couple of blocks from the hotel is frozen solid. Kids were out ice skating on it and playing hockey. There are huge piles of snow everywhere. Note on the side of the house the huge icicles. I am thankful to live in a warmer climate!”
