Dense Fog Advisory Issued For Central AL From 11PM Tonight to 9AM Saturday

DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CST SATURDAY

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Saturday.

* VISIBILITY…one quarter of a mile or less at times

* IMPACTS…Low visibility will make travel difficult. Motorists are urged to increase their following distance and allow extra time to reach their destinations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one-quarter mile. If driving… slow down… use your headlights… and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
