Record High Temperatures Set Today In Central Alabama… More To Come?

Record High Temperature Set At Birmingham
Today’s high temperature at the Birmingham International Airport reached 78 degrees, breaking the previous record high of 76 degrees set back in 2011.

Record High Temperature Set At Tuscaloosa
Today’s high temperature at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport reached 79 degrees, breaking the previous record high of 77 degrees set just one year ago in 2017.

Record High Temperature Set At Anniston
Today’s high temperature at the Anniston Metropolitan Airport reached 78 degrees, breaking the previous record high of 76 degrees set back in 2011.

The rest of the work week has the potential to have record-breaking highs on each day as we’ll continue to have ridging in place… so don’t be surprised to see that animated GIF a couple more times through Friday evening.
