At 8:50 AM, they were clustered mostly in the Tennessee Valley of Extreme North Alabama. Most of the rain from about Moulton, Hartselle and Athens east toward Decatur and Huntsville

Moving slowly east.

Actually, this is a slow, steady rain, just what the doctor ordered.

Only downside–not enough of it.

Maybe 1/4 to 1/3 inch has fallen by now in some locations. The heaviest rain (moderate in intensity) was over North Limestone County north of Athens.

Cullman is on the south edge.
