New Severe Thunderstorm Watch to the West of Alabama

| March 10, 2018 @ 8:45 pm

The SPC has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of Central Mississippi, southeastern Arkansas and extreme northeastern Mississippi.

It is in effect until 4 a.m. CDT.

Here is the current radar with watches and warnings.

As you can see, storms are active tonight from eastern Arkansas into the Mississippi Delta region. These storms could produce damaging wind gusts and some large hail. An isolated tornado is not out of the question, but not likely.

There are also storms over North Central Mississipi, with large hail.
