…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR CENTRAL MARSHALL COUNTY… At 724 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near McLarty, or 7 miles southwest of Albertville, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado and tennis ball size hail.
SOURCE…Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab, Douglas, Union Grove, McVille, High Point, Horton and Lake Guntersville St Park.
